Combining traditional yoga principles with an exploration of expression through creativity, movement and mindfulness, during this week we will help you journey beyond a physical practice, remove blocks, and realise a confidence in your own inner power.

We invite you to look at your practice more creatively, and see how it can help you become more confident in expressing what is unique about you. We will offer daily yoga, exploring a range of practices from strong ashtanga inspired sequences, creative vinyasa, to reflective yin, but within every practice we’ll encourage you to make the movement your own. Alongside the physical practice, we will look at yoga as a much broader subject, including breathwork, meditation, self-healing, philosophy and mindfulness.

Perhaps you're a newly qualified yoga teacher, struggling to breathe your passion into classes, or you struggle to inject personality into professional presentations, or perhaps you've always been a natural creative that's experiencing 'writers block'. Whatever is challenging you about expression, our schedule is carefully planned to explore how to become inspired again, and break down those barriers. Set in a beautiful space near Canguu, our home has a stunning traditional Balinese style villa, with private pool and yoga shala, and stylish rooms all with air con and private bathroom. Much more than a yoga retreat, you can experience the magnetic energy of this magic island, nourish with plant-based food and discover a new passion for life and confidence in your voice.

7.30am Pathway to Meditation class
8am 1.5 hour morning yoga class including pranayama and meditation
10.00am Brunch

We will have a schedule of workshops we would encourage you to join as part of our exploration of expression. These workshops will centre around getting creative with movement, written and spoken work, and open discussion with the group.

5.30 pm 1 hour evening yoga class, a more restorative practice to help you process the day
6.30pm Meditation, breathwork, group healing, ecstatic dance or yoga nidra

8pm Dinner

Alice Jackson

Alice believes deeply in the power of yoga to shine a light on our limitless possibilities so we can uncover our full potential, and is constantly in awe at the transformative nature of yoga. Through her personal practice she has developed a stronger connection not only to her true self but her environment and those around her. Teaching from an intuitive and nurturing place, Alice always invites students to connect and tune in as they move. She enjoys teaching creative vinyasa style classes that encourage students to explore their own individuality.

Amy Patsalides

Amy teaches yin, meditation and hatha vinyasa. Her personal yoga journey has led her from a dynamic physical practice, over many years back to an appreciation of the philosophical aspect of yoga. Following her teacher training in hatha yoga, she began to find more enjoyment in exploring the small intricacies of a pose, and becoming in tune with how the practice felt rather than how it looked. In becoming more mindful, she found an ability to feel so much more in the simplest of asana, and realised how valuable this depth of understanding could be in overcoming challenges in life off the mat. Her teaching will encourage you to explore the emotions of the practice, rather than being orientated by achieving aesthetic beauty with your body.

Claudia is an internationally beloved health and wellness maven with a passion for helping everyone she encounters — both in her classes and off the mat - realise their full potential. In her life, yoga was the game-changer that helped her articulate and actualise her own, and it is through her yoga classes, workshops, retreats, and online content that she aims to help others find health and happiness. As a former dancer, she grew up with a love for movement. Which translates to a practice and teaching style that is both strong and graceful, challenging and fluid. Her favourite moments are in seeing people find and blend their true values into their practice. 

Laura Booth

As a young teacher, Laura feels completely blessed to have connected to this part of herself so early in life. Her asana practice has transcended her pre-conceived physical and mental limitations, and yoga has infiltrated her life in every way. Yoga brings Laura clarity and inner strength, enabling her to navigate her way through obstacles and fully appreciate every moment of her life. Her teaching encourages students to find their own personal flow within the practice, creating space in body and mind, body positivity, and inner strength. You can expect to find an equal balance between integrity and creativity in her sequences that feel almost like a dance between yoga and self-expression.
